SwimJim, Inc. is currently seeking a head lifguard. We seek professional, focused, and energetic employees to be a part of our team as our organization grows.
You must have at least 6 months of lifeguard managing experience and at least 2 years lifeguard experience. CPR/AED certification must be current. Must have references.
We currently manage 6 pools and conduct lessons at 7 pools in Manhattan. Every pool we conduct lessons at is staffed with at least one guard from our company. We also provide swim instructors and lifeguards for private functions city wide. WSI NOT REQUIRED. All instructors go through 120 hours of Under Water School House methodology training.
SwimJim is a privately owned and operated swim school and pool management company that operates in several different pools in Manhattan, Yonkers, Englewood Cliffs and the Hamptons.
Regardless of experience, swimming instructors will undergo a paid training process to become familiar with the SwimJim method of teaching. Though we teach swimming to all ages and abilities, the bulk of our lessons cater to pre-school age children.
